Manhattan NY, PlugIn Stations has completed the installation of a new DCFC station at New York City Hall. The ChargePoint CPE250 which is capable of charging at a rate of 62.5kW replaces an older station that was experiencing technical difficulties.
PlugIn Stations dispatched our team from our headquarters in Valatie, NY. Following all Covid-19 protocols for social distancing and PPE, the team was able to complete the installation safely. City Hall now has the ability to quickly charge its fleet.
Constructed at the beginning of the 19th century, the building is the oldest city hall in the United States that still houses its original governmental functions. The office of the Mayor of New York City and the chambers of the New York City Council operate from this historic building.
PlugIn Stations provides sales, installation and service of all levels of electric vehicle charging stations. We have been in business since 2011 and installed hundreds of charging stations across NY, NJ, PA and New England.
We would like to thank the Mayor’s office and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services as well as all the staff at City Hall who helped us in our efforts to complete this job during this difficult time.
